The concept for the Rectory was to create a retail environment uniting the site's spiritual heritage with a rock-and -roll sensibility making it a unique and exciting shopping experience. The Rectory's interior is designed to present the shop as a temple... downstairs, the jewelry and gift rooms house offerings to the body, home and soul, held in custom designed cases from Italy. Upstairs, clients are greeted by a "Garden of Eden" filled with designer clothing, like "forbidden fruit" waiting to be picked. These carefully balanced elements combine to visually stimulate and enrich the customer's body, home and soul.
